Licensed Industrial Technical Architect
Job Summary
To support a growing team, the full-time Licensed Industrial Technical Architect will design significant components of industrial projects, review design requirements, and ensure compliance with codes while working remotely or onsite.
Key responsibilities
- Represent the organization and interact professionally with clients, sub-consultants, and contractor representatives
- Review design requirements, drawings, and schedules to ensure compliance with program and client needs
- Evaluate site conditions and perform technical reviews, creating architectural drawings to support construction projects
Required qualifications
- Related post-secondary education in architecture or a related field
- Intermediate knowledge of M&E, structural building systems, technical wiring, and permit/building codes
- Proficiency in architectural software such as Revit and AutoCAD
- Ability to analyze design intent to produce effective technical design solutions
- Registration with a relevant professional architectural or technologist association is an asset
