Job Summary
To support a growing virtual clinic, the part-time Licensed Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) will provide high-quality lactation care and education through 20-minute video consultations, documenting encounters and collaborating with the care delivery team.
Key responsibilities
- Provide virtual lactation care and support on various breastfeeding topics through video consultations
- Document encounter summaries in the practice management system, MPractice
- Collaborate with the Care Delivery team to address member needs and recommend in-person referrals when necessary
Required qualifications
- Active International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) credential
- 5+ years of clinical experience providing lactation care and support
- 3+ years of experience delivering care through telehealth
- Ability to practice independently with all required credentials in good standing
- Commitment to providing empathetic, culturally humble, and inclusive care
