Job Summary
Leading civil engineering design projects for utility-scale solar photovoltaic initiatives, the full-time Licensed Lead Civil Engineer will manage client communications, mentor engineering teams, and drive continuous improvement in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage civil engineering design projects, ensuring effective communication and coordination with clients and internal teams
- Provide mentorship to engineers and review designs for quality and compliance with standards
- Develop comprehensive plans and specifications while recommending design alterations to enhance project outcomes
Required qualifications
- B.S. in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program or equivalent
- Civil Professional Engineer (PE) registration required
- 8-10+ years of civil engineering experience, with at least 5+ years in utility-scale solar design
- Proficiency in large-scale solar grading design and earthwork calculations
- Experience with stormwater management and permitting, including SPCC and SWPPP plans preferred
