Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Licensed Lead Planning Engineer, the candidate will provide project support in Distribution System Planning and Engineering, focusing on project management, client interaction, and technical analysis, with the flexibility to work remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage distribution system planning projects, including area planning studies and system impact analyses
- Conduct thermal capability analysis and perform various power system studies, ensuring adherence to engineering design standards
- Collaborate with clients to develop project plans, budgets, and proposals while providing exceptional customer service
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- Minimum of ten (10) years' experience in electrical distribution planning for utilities
- Professional Engineering Licensure (PE) is preferred
- Experience with electric power distribution design and relevant software tools (e.g., ASPEN, CYME, PSS/E)
- Demonstrated leadership ability and strong business ethics
