Licensed Lead Structural Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a Licensed Lead Structural Engineer in a full-time remote position, the candidate will manage utility-scale solar photovoltaic and battery storage projects, collaborating with design teams and clients to deliver innovative structural engineering solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Acts as Engineer of Record for renewable structural engineering projects across multiple states
- Calculates loads and performs structural foundation design for solar and battery storage projects
- Reviews geotechnical reports and provides recommendations for civil, structural, and electrical design deliverables
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited program
- Civil and/or Structural Professional Engineer (PE) registration required; SE registration preferred
- Minimum of 7+ years of structural engineering experience, particularly in utility-scale solar projects
- Proficiency in LPile, APile, or equivalent numerical foundation analysis software
- In-depth knowledge of ASCE 7, IBC, AISC 360, and ACI 318 required
