Job Summary
To support a growing portfolio of software businesses, the full-time Licensed Legal Counsel will manage a variety of legal tasks including drafting contracts, advising on employment matters, and ensuring compliance while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate software licensing, SaaS, and vendor agreements
- Provide day-to-day operational legal support to portfolio company leaders on various issues
- Maintain corporate records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements across entities
Required qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school and admitted in good standing in at least one U.S. state
- 4+ years of legal practice, with experience in both law firm and in-house settings preferred
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills related to commercial and technology agreements
- Experience with employment law and HR-related legal matters
- Working knowledge of IP, corporate governance, and SaaS business models
