Licensed Legislative Counsel
Job Summary
To support a growing regulatory practice, the full-time Licensed Legislative Counsel will analyze emerging legislative requirements, develop compliance frameworks, and manage relationships with external partners while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate cross-functional regulatory responses to ensure a consistent legal perspective on legislative matters
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of legislation impacting gig economy participants and deliver actionable legal guidance
- Develop and document legal frameworks and compliance best practices to navigate evolving regulatory requirements
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree
- 3+ years of experience practicing law
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize and analyze legal advice in response to legislative updates
- Experience working with legislative bodies, government agencies, or regulatory matters
- Proven success in supporting compliance initiatives and executing legal frameworks
