Licensed Mechanical CAD Engineer
Job Summary
To support the development of AI agents in CAD environments, the part-time Freelance Mechanical CAD & Simulation Engineer will design part geometry, build reference solutions, and evaluate AI performance while collaborating with CFD engineers remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design part geometry and build reference solutions for AI training
- Evaluate AI agents' attempts based on engineering tasks
- Collaborate with CFD engineers to ensure accurate simulations of the created geometry
Required qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or a related field; Master's or PhD is a plus
- 5+ years of hands-on CAD modeling experience (CATIA, SolidWorks, Siemens NX, Creo, or similar)
- Active professional CAD license is required
- Familiarity with Python and GitHub
- English proficiency at B2 level or above
