Licensed Mechanical CAD Engineer
Job Summary
To support AI training in a CAD environment, the part-time Freelance Mechanical CAD & Simulation Engineer will design part geometry, build reference solutions, and evaluate AI agents' performance while collaborating with CFD engineers, all in a remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Design part geometry and build reference solutions for AI training in CAD
- Evaluate AI agents' attempts on long engineering tasks and provide feedback
- Collaborate with CFD engineers to ensure simulation accuracy of designed geometries
Required qualifications
- A degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or a related field; a Master's or PhD is a plus
- 5+ years of professional experience in CAD modeling using tools like CATIA, SolidWorks, or Siemens NX
- An active professional CAD license
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with GitHub
- English language proficiency at B2 level or above
