Licensed Mechanical CAD Engineer
Job Summary
To support AI training initiatives, the part-time Freelance Mechanical CAD & Simulation Engineer will design part geometry, build reference solutions, and evaluate AI agents in a remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Design part geometry and prepare reference solutions for AI agents in a CAD environment
- Evaluate and judge the performance of AI agents on engineering tasks
- Collaborate with CFD engineers to ensure the accuracy of simulated geometries
Required qualifications
- A degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or a related field; a Master's or PhD is a plus
- 5+ years of professional, hands-on CAD modeling experience (CATIA, SolidWorks, Siemens NX, Creo, or similar)
- An active professional CAD license
- Proficiency in Python and GitHub
- English language proficiency at B2 level or above
