Licensed Mechanical CAD Engineer
Job Summary
To support AI training initiatives, the part-time Freelance Mechanical CAD & Simulation Engineer will design part geometry, build reference solutions, and evaluate AI agents in a remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Train and evaluate AI agents working in a CAD environment on complex engineering tasks
- Design part geometry and prepare it for simulation alongside CFD engineers
- Judge the performance of AI agents based on their attempts at completing engineering tasks
Required qualifications
- A degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or a related field; a Master's or PhD is a plus
- 5+ years of professional CAD modeling experience with software such as CATIA, SolidWorks, Siemens NX, or Creo
- An active professional CAD license
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with GitHub
- English language proficiency at B2 level or above
