Licensed Mental Health Coach
Job Summary
Providing specialized telephonic coaching, the full-time Licensed Mental Health Coach will support transitioning service members and veterans in navigating psychological health care services, utilizing motivational interviewing and care management techniques in a remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate one-on-one coaching to assist callers in transitioning between psychological health care providers or initiating treatment
- Utilize de-escalation techniques and maintain accurate documentation of interactions to inform future support strategies
- Stay updated on platform features and ensure timely tracking and resolution of calls and issues
Required Qualifications
- Actively Licensed Mental Health Professional with a Master's Degree in social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, or behavioral health counseling
- Minimum of 3 years' experience delivering face-to-face health care with demonstrated clinical experience in triage and crisis counseling
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to pass a Department of Defense background investigation
- Technologically literate with experience in remote work environments
- Familiarity with behavioral health coaching models or case management practices is preferred
