Job Summary
Experienced Mortgage Closers will find a full-time opportunity focused on preparing and auditing closing documents for various loan types, ensuring compliance with guidelines, and providing excellent customer service in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Perform pre-closing audits of documentation and prepare closing disclosures for settlement agents
- Review and clear underwriting conditions, ensuring timely funding of loans within the assigned pipeline
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners, including home builders and title companies
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of mortgage closing experience with the ability to close 65 loans
- Knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, USDA guidelines, and federal and state laws (e.g., TRID, TILA, ECOA, HMDA)
- Experience with Ellie Mae Encompass Loan Origination System for 2-3 years
- Ability to read and interpret various loan documents and resolve issues effectively
- Strong organizational skills to manage competing deadlines under pressure
