Job Summary
Building relationships and guiding borrowers through the mortgage process, the full-time Licensed Mortgage Loan Officer will generate new business, manage a pipeline from application to closing, and leverage marketing resources while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong referral relationships with realtors, builders, and industry professionals
- Consult with clients to complete loan applications and provide guidance throughout the mortgage process
- Manage loan pipelines, ensuring documentation is complete and submitted on time while collaborating with internal teams
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a licensed Mortgage Loan Officer/Originator
- Active state-specific mortgage license(s) or ability to obtain licensing within the required timeframe
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of conventional and government lending guidelines and mortgage processing procedures
- Proven sales and customer service skills with the ability to build trust and strong relationships
