Licensed Nurse Consultant Lead
Job Summary
Leading department operations related to clinical denials, the full-time Licensed Nurse Consultant Lead will optimize team function focusing on quality and efficiency while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate Clinical Case Study presentations for clients, managing invites and communications
- Provide onboarding, training, and mentoring for new nurse hires
- Participate in the quality assurance process to ensure guidelines and deadlines are met
Required Qualifications
- College degree or diploma from a school of nursing; must be a licensed RN
- Minimum 5 years of experience in denials and appeals or hospital revenue cycle
- Experience with MCG, InterQual, and payor medical policies
- Clinical nursing experience in a hospital environment, preferably in ER, ICU, Med-Surg, or Transplant unit
- Moderate computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
