Licensed Obstetric Behavioral Health Nurse
Job Summary
Working the night shift from 7 PM to 2 AM ET, the Licensed Obstetric Behavioral Health Nurse will conduct initial patient assessments, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and develop individualized care plans to support perinatal mental health in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct initial patient risk assessments and triage based on urgency and severity of mental health conditions
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate care
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, providing psychoeducation to patients and families
Required qualifications:
- Registered Nurse with an unrestricted multi-state compact license and residence in a nursing compact state
- 4+ years of experience in a hospital or healthcare practice serving maternal-child health populations
- Experience or advanced training in psychiatric nursing or perinatal mental health
- Experience working with pregnant and postpartum individuals and their families
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
