Licensed Obstetric Behavioral Health Nurse
Job Summary
Working night shifts from 12 AM to 9 AM ET, Tuesday through Friday, the Licensed Obstetric Behavioral Health Nurse will conduct initial patient assessments and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans for perinatal mental health, all while providing remote support to improve patient outcomes.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct initial patient risk assessments and triage based on urgency and severity of mental health conditions
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide psychoeducation to patients and families about perinatal mental health conditions and treatment options
Required qualifications:
- Registered Nurse with an unrestricted multi-state compact license and residence in a nursing compact state
- 4+ years of experience in a hospital and/or healthcare practice serving maternal-child health populations
- Experience or advanced training in psychiatric nursing or perinatal mental health
- Experience working with pregnant and postpartum individuals and their families
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
