Licensed Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary

To support a growing health-tech company, the seasonal Licensed Pharmacy Technician will assist members, providers, and pharmacies in navigating prescription complexities, ensuring timely coverage of clinically appropriate medication therapy while working remotely on a contract basis for 6 months.

Key responsibilities:

• Verify eligibility and drug coverage under plan benefit designs for claims processing
• Triaging clinical review processes for prior authorization requests according to established protocols
• Organize and prioritize multiple requests to ensure timely prior authorization case management

Required qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent work experience
• Active Pharmacy Technician license required
• 2-4 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
• Experience in prior authorization review preferred
• Proficiency in Mac, MS Office, and G-Suite required
