Licensed Phone Counselor Assessor

Job Summary

To support a vital mission in behavioral health, the full-time Licensed Phone Counselor Assessor will manage inquiry calls, conduct tele-evaluations, and triage individuals seeking services while working remotely on a set schedule of MON/THURS/FRI/SAT from 11:00am-7:30pm EST.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitates the initial response and evaluation process for individuals seeking behavioral health services
• Conducts comprehensive screenings and documents patient needs and symptomology for physician review
• Coordinates patient care with clinical staff and provides treatment guidance to patients and families

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, or related field from an accredited institution
• Associate-level Counseling or Social Work license or Registered Nurse license as required by state regulations
• One year of assessment experience in an inpatient behavioral health care setting preferred
• CPR certification required within 30 days of employment
• De-escalation certification required within 30 days of employment
