Licensed Phone Counselor Assessor

Job Summary

To support a growing behavioral health initiative, the full-time Licensed Phone Counselor Assessor will manage inquiry calls, schedule assessments, and perform tele-evaluations while working remotely on a set schedule of Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 11:00 am to 7:30 pm EST.

Key responsibilities:

• Facilitates the initial response to service requests, including evaluations and referrals for appropriate care
• Conducts comprehensive screenings, documents patient needs, and coordinates care with clinical staff
• Ensures timely evaluation by qualified mental health professionals and maintains accurate pre-admission paperwork

Required qualifications:

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, or a related field, or a nursing degree from an accredited school
• Associate-level Counseling or Social Work license or Registered Nurse license as required by state regulations
• One year of assessment experience in an inpatient behavioral health care setting preferred
• CPR and de-escalation certifications required within 30 days of employment
• Two years of experience working with relevant patient populations preferred
