Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Summary

To support rural clinic sites through innovative telehealth technology, the full-time Licensed Practical Nurse will provide high-quality patient care via virtual appointments while managing telemedicine equipment and documentation remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct assigned patient appointments, including home phone/video visits and clinic visits, demonstrating professionalism and excellent customer service
• Perform general nursing care appropriate to virtual care and assist providers during virtual clinic visits
• Create Electronic Health Record (EHR) telemedicine encounters and document required items for each patient appointment

Required qualifications

• Graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program is strongly preferred; an approved nursing program is acceptable
• Two years of nursing experience required
• Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse with one unrestricted state license is required
• LPN licensure required within the states that the Specialty Clinic serves within 120 days of hire
• Must successfully complete and maintain any required federal background investigation, credentialing, and clearance processes as a condition of employment
