Licensed Practical Nurse - NJ
Job Summary
To support healthcare delivery, the full-time Licensed Practical Nurse - NJ will perform concurrent reviews to assess members' overall health, evaluate medical necessity, and contribute to discharge planning while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Conducts concurrent reviews to determine the appropriateness of care and setting for members
- Collaborates with Medical Affairs and healthcare providers to discuss member care and approve medical determinations
- Documents concurrent review findings and maintains accurate medical records in compliance with utilization management policies
Required qualifications
- Graduate from an Accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- 2+ years of acute care experience required
- LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - State Licensure required
- Clinical knowledge to assess overall health and treatment needs preferred
- Familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid regulations preferred
