Job Summary
Advising on product launches with a focus on privacy and education-related issues, the full-time Licensed Product Counsel - Privacy will provide legal guidance for a leading global technology company in a remote capacity, supporting cross-functional teams in navigating complex regulatory environments.
Key responsibilities
- Advise on product launches concerning privacy, children, and education-related issues
- Identify legal and regulatory risks and recommend practical mitigation strategies
- Partner with Product, Engineering, UX, Marketing, and Legal stakeholders to ensure compliance and readiness
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of product counseling or related legal experience
- Strong knowledge of COPPA, student and minor privacy laws, and privacy regulations affecting users under 18
- Familiarity with GDPR and international privacy frameworks
- Experience supporting product launches and advising cross-functional teams
- Licensed U.S. attorney required
