Licensed Senior Customs Consultant
Job Summary
Seeking a high-caliber Licensed Senior Customs Consultant, the full-time remote position will lead client engagements, drive operational excellence, and interpret complex customs regulations while fostering long-term client relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Interpret U.S. customs and international trade compliance regulations to develop risk-mitigating strategies for clients
- Classify imported products using advanced knowledge of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule and manage customs rulings and trade regulation research
- Advise clients on customs valuation methodologies and manage compliance initiatives related to duty recovery and trade controls
Required qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in international trade, customs compliance, or trade consulting
- Licensed U.S. Customs Broker (LCB) designation is required
- Strong expertise in U.S. import/export regulations and customs brokerage
- Proven ability to manage client engagements and develop business relationships
- Additional trade compliance certifications or professional designations are considered an asset
