Licensed Staff Attorney
Job Summary
To support legal operations, the full-time Licensed Staff Attorney will assist the Chief Legal Officer and Associate General Counsel by drafting legal documents, performing legal research, and managing corporate legal records in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Research and analyze statutes, judicial decisions, and legal codes to inform legal strategies
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts on behalf of the organization
- Provide legal counsel to staff on business objectives and ensure compliance with applicable policies
Required qualifications
- Completion of a law degree from an ABA-accredited program is preferred
- License to practice law is required
- Some experience in a law firm or in-house legal department is required
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to support compliance program objectives and interact respectfully with colleagues
