Licensed Staff Attorney
Job Summary
To support the legal team, the full-time remote Licensed Staff Attorney will draft and negotiate contracts, conduct legal research, and manage legal documents and records under limited supervision.
Key responsibilities
- Research and analyze statutes, judicial decisions, and legal codes
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts on behalf of the organization
- Provide legal counsel to staff regarding business objectives and applicable policies
Required qualifications
- Completion of a law degree from an ABA-accredited program is preferred
- License to practice law is required
- Some experience in a law firm or in-house legal department is required
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to support compliance program objectives and interact respectfully with colleagues
