Licensed Structural Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing team, the full-time Licensed Structural Engineer will perform innovative design engineering, including preparing structural designs, conducting calculations, and coordinating with project partners across various power generation projects.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare designs and drawings for assigned structures, including research and analysis for power generation projects
- Coordinate with internal and external partners to address structural-related issues and ensure compliance with project specifications
- Monitor and update project plans, schedules, and budgets while supporting department managers in achieving performance goals
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- At least 5 years of experience in structural engineering and design, preferably in the power industry
- Proficiency in engineering software, with SAP2000, SAFE, and Mathcad preferred
- General knowledge of engineering standards including ASCE 7, ACI 318, AISC 360, and IBC
- Licensed Professional Engineer is preferred
