Job Summary
To support a growing team, the full-time Licensed Structural Engineer will prepare designs for power generation projects, perform structural calculations, and coordinate with internal and external partners while working from various office locations or remotely until a hybrid arrangement is established.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare designs, including research, analysis, and drawing preparation for assigned structures
- Apply industry standards to calculations, project drawings, and specifications
- Coordinate with stakeholders to address structural-related issues and monitor project plans and budgets
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- At least 5 years of experience in structural engineering and design
- Experience in the power industry or industrial markets is preferred
- Knowledge of engineering software such as SAP2000, SAFE, and Mathcad
- General knowledge of engineering standards including ASCE 7, ACI 318, AISC 360, and IBC
