Job Summary
To support a growing engineering team, the full-time Licensed Structural Engineer will develop design solutions for building projects, collaborate across disciplines, and ensure compliance with design codes, with the flexibility to work remotely or onsite.
Key responsibilities
- Designing structural components and integrating architectural design while adhering to applicable codes
- Creating construction drawings for new projects and modifications to existing structures
- Conducting site visits to assess building conditions and reviewing shop drawings during construction administration
Required qualifications
- Proficient in engineering software, including AutoCAD and Revit
- 7-10 years of project work experience in structural engineering
- Registered with a relevant professional engineering association
- Completed related post-secondary education
- Knowledge of building structural systems and familiarity with building codes
