Licensed Therapist in KY

Job Summary

To support a growing practice, the full-time Licensed Therapist in KY will conduct mental health assessments, provide individual and group therapy sessions, and develop personalized treatment plans while working in a hybrid environment that includes both in-person and virtual sessions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct initial mental health assessments and document therapy sessions according to regulatory requirements
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on client needs and utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques
• Participate as a member of the child and family team and provide consultation to non-clinical team members when appropriate

Required qualifications

• A Master's degree in psychology, social work, or counseling
• At least 1 year of experience in child welfare services
• A valid professional Master's level, provisional or full license in social work, therapy, or counseling
• Understanding of cultural influences on human behavior and ability to deliver culturally sensitive services
• Ability to foster partnerships with clients and their families to help them address identified issues
