Licensing Manager

Job Summary

To support the Office of Applied Innovation, the full-time Licensing Manager will evaluate and protect Drexel inventions, develop commercialization strategies, and negotiate agreements while working primarily remotely with occasional on-campus requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate inventions for potential protection and manage the patenting process
• Build relationships with faculty and industry stakeholders to facilitate technology transfer
• Draft and negotiate various agreements necessary for licensing processes

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering, life sciences, or biomedical engineering, or equivalent experience
• At least 3 years of experience in technology commercialization
• Knowledge of life sciences and engineering/technology disciplines
• Strong analytical and negotiating skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively
