Licensing Specialist Contractor

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Licensing Specialist Contractor will manage a queue of licensing requests, track application progress, and coordinate required documentation to support the team's service-level expectations.

Key responsibilities:

• Review and maintain assigned queue to ensure completeness and accuracy in accordance with state licensing requirements
• Initiate and manage primary source verifications and communicate with providers and clients regarding requirements and status updates
• Prepare and provide license status updates to clients while collaborating with internal teams and external agencies to facilitate timely licensure

Required qualifications:

• Experience with Behavioral Health, Nursing, and Physician license types; multi-state experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to navigate complex licensing requirements
• Excellent communication and customer service skills for articulating next steps to providers and stakeholders
• Close attention to detail with strong organizational and time management abilities
• Proficiency in Google Suite and familiarity with tools like DocHub and Slack
