Job Summary
Assisting hospitals in resolving accident-related accounts, the full-time Lien Processing Representative will manage the filing of hospital liens and amendments, ensuring compliance with state laws, while working in a hybrid capacity with remote days on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
Key responsibilities
- Utilize proprietary software to generate lien documents and ensure accurate filing with district courts
- Communicate with patients, insurance adjusters, and attorneys to gather necessary information for lien processing
- Maintain updates in the account management system as lien processing tasks are completed
Required qualifications
- Working knowledge of the hospital revenue cycle process and clerical or administrative work is preferred
- Familiarity with State and Federal regulations governing collection practices, including HIPAA and FDCPA
- Experience with hospital lien statutes or related statutory regulations is advantageous
- Intermediate proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Strong organizational skills and a high commitment to customer service
