Lien Resolution Associate

Job Summary

Seeking a detail-oriented Lien Resolution Associate, the full-time remote position will manage negotiations of hospital liens and medical balances to help injured clients retain more of their settlements while maintaining accurate records and coordinating with attorneys.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate hospital liens and medical provider balances under attorney supervision, applying strategic techniques for favorable outcomes
• Review medical bills, verify outstanding balances, and submit reduction requests while maintaining organized records in legal case management software
• Manage a high-volume reductions caseload independently, ensuring timely communication and updates to all stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on plaintiff personal injury lien reduction or medical bill negotiation experience with a U.S. law firm
• Proven experience negotiating with hospitals and medical providers, demonstrating effective negotiation strategies
• Fluency in English and Spanish, with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages
• Proficiency with legal case management software; experience with Litify preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
