Lien Resolution Associate

Job Summary

Detail-oriented and collaborative, the full-time Lien Resolution Associate will negotiate medical balances and manage high-volume caseloads remotely to help injured clients retain more of their settlement.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate hospital liens and medical provider balances under attorney supervision, applying strategic techniques for favorable outcomes
• Review medical bills, verify outstanding balances, and maintain accurate records in legal case management software
• Coordinate with attorneys and closing staff to resolve outstanding items and prepare files for settlement disbursement

Required qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in plaintiff personal injury lien reduction or medical bill negotiation supporting a U.S. law firm
• Proven experience negotiating with hospitals and medical providers, with the ability to document negotiation strategies and results
• Fluency in English and Spanish with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages
• Proficiency with legal case management software; experience with Litify preferred
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
