Job Summary
Seeking a remote, full-time Life Actuarial Consultant (Pricing), the position will manage Medicare supplement state filings, develop pricing frameworks for various products, and support financial reporting and actuarial analysis for a 6- to 12-month project.
Key responsibilities
- Manage routine in-force Medicare supplement state filings
- Develop an accelerated underwriting framework and evaluate economic pricing frameworks
- Prepare and analyze periodic financial reports and maintain actuarial models for pricing functions
Required qualifications
- Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) or experienced Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA)
- Strong Excel skills with experience in pricing Medicare supplement, universal life, and annuity products
- Experience with reinsurance pricing and writing experience studies
- Proficiency in Prophet actuarial modeling software (preferred)
- Availability for a full-time, 40-hour-per-week consulting position
