Life Actuary
Job Summary
Performing complex actuarial modeling, the full-time Life Actuary will utilize software for pricing, valuation, and risk management, while ensuring compliance with laws and regulations and presenting detailed analyses to leadership.
Key responsibilities
- Utilize actuarial modeling software for pricing, valuation, and risk management tasks
- Review and ensure compliance with laws and regulations, providing improvement recommendations
- Generate reports and present detailed analyses to Actuarial Leadership, advising on model adjustments
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 4 years of relevant actuarial or analytical experience and attainment of Fellow within the Society of Actuaries, or 8 years of relevant experience with an Associate designation
- Experience with actuarial modeling software for complex assignments
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex actuarial analyses to diverse audiences
- 5+ years of experience with Moody's AXIS is preferred
