Life Care Planning Manager

Job Summary

Providing day-to-day leadership and operational oversight, the fully remote Underwriting Manager will ensure efficient progression of life care plans through the case lifecycle while serving as a liaison between Underwriters, physicians, and various internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily underwriting workflows, track case stages, and coordinate priorities to maintain productivity and resolve issues
• Serve as a communication link between Underwriters and physicians, facilitating case-specific inquiries and feedback
• Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance management to Underwriters, enhancing team capabilities and addressing performance concerns

Required qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in nursing, occupational therapy, physical therapy, rehabilitation, healthcare, or a related field
• Current Life Care Planning certification is required
• Minimum three years of professional Life Care Planning experience
• Previous formal supervisory experience is preferred
• Advanced knowledge of life care planning principles and medical terminology
