Job Summary
Managing the timely adjudication of group life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) claims, the full-time Life Claims Examiner will verify eligibility, make claim decisions based on policy provisions, and issue payments while providing responsive service to customers in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Review and adjudicate group life and AD&D claims in accordance with policy provisions
- Investigate eligibility and gather supporting information to make informed claim decisions
- Communicate claim status and decisions clearly to policyholders and partners
Required qualifications
- 2-5 years of relevant claims experience, preferably in group life, AD&D, or disability benefits
- Strong understanding of insurance contracts and claims requirements
- High school diploma required; college degree preferred
- Experience with claims systems; familiarity with Salesforce is a plus
- Ability to manage competing priorities and take ownership of work
