Job Summary
Seeking an ambitious individual, the full-time remote Life Sciences Acquisition Editor will focus on recruiting new authors and content for the Journal while establishing a strong network of scientists to drive content acquisition and meet monthly targets.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and recruit new authors, guiding them through the manuscript submission process
- Contact potential Guest Editors to collaborate on building Methods Collections
- Collaborate with the peer review team to facilitate manuscript publication
Required qualifications
- A Ph.D. in the Life Sciences
- Fluent English written and verbal communication skills
- Results-driven with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational, influencing, and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with the publishing process is a plus
