Life Underwriting Consultant
Job Summary
Driving innovative underwriting strategies, the full-time remote Life Underwriting Consultant will design, test, and implement new capabilities and processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance risk assessment and improve efficiency.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the development and execution of underwriting innovation plans aligned with company goals
- Assist in identifying and implementing new technologies to optimize underwriting processes
- Participate in initiatives to enhance workflows, reduce turnaround times, and improve customer experience
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, actuarial science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- At least 6 years of experience in underwriting
- Proficiency in data analytics and machine learning related to risk assessment
- Strong leadership and project management skills with a proven track record of driving innovation
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including IT and data science
