Job Summary
To lead the testing and validation of cloud-based LIMS in regulated life sciences environments, the full-time remote LIMS Validation Test Lead will develop risk-based testing strategies, oversee test execution, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while serving as the primary client-facing contact.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and document risk-based testing strategies and prepare detailed test plans for Benchling implementations
- Lead test execution, maintain traceability between requirements and test cases, and oversee defect management using JIRA
- Coordinate and mentor offshore testing teams, ensuring clear communication and compliance with GxP regulations
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience, with 4-5 years as a LIMS Test Lead in validated GxP environments
- Hands-on expertise with JIRA and the Xray plugin for test case management and reporting
- Extensive experience with Benchling or similar platforms such as Signals, BIOVIA, or LabVantage
- Ability to develop and implement end-to-end software testing life cycle (STLC) processes
- Experience in risk assessment and championing risk-based testing methodologies
