Linux and Unix Services Manager
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Manager, Linux and Unix Infrastructure Services, the full-time role will manage a team delivering operational excellence and modernization of enterprise Linux, Unix, and middleware platforms, ensuring stability and compliance while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery and support of Linux, Unix, middleware, messaging, DNS, and Tandem infrastructure services
- Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary team, establishing performance objectives and resource allocation
- Oversee infrastructure deployments, migrations, upgrades, and modernization initiatives, driving automation efforts
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of experience supporting enterprise Linux and Unix environments
- 5+ years of experience managing technical infrastructure teams
- Strong experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Oracle Linux, IBM AIX, KVM Virtualization, and IBM MQ
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
