Job Summary
Operating Linux server platforms, the full-time Linux Systems Engineer will administer cloud and hybrid environments, resolve incidents, and enhance operational resiliency through automation and monitoring.
Key responsibilities
- Administer Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Ubuntu, and other Linux distributions across production and non-production environments
- Resolve operating system and service incidents while participating in root cause analysis to minimize recurrence
- Develop and maintain configuration and operational workflows using automation tools like Ansible and scripting
Required qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated experience administering Linux server environments in enterprise production settings
- Strong experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Ubuntu, or comparable Linux distributions
- Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Bash, or Python
- Hands-on experience supporting AWS, Azure, and Windows Server infrastructure in hybrid cloud environments
