Job Summary
Providing advanced Linux/Unix systems administration in a full-time remote capacity, the Level 2 NOC Systems Administrator will manage Level 2 escalations, perform deep troubleshooting, and ensure the reliability of Linux/Unix-based infrastructure in a 24/7 NOC environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer Linux/Unix development, test, and production servers, including maintenance and configuration
- Diagnose and resolve complex Linux/Unix OS, service, and connectivity issues
- Perform daily monitoring of Linux/Unix systems and initiate proactive remediation
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree and 2-4 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination
- Experience with enterprise Linux/Unix operating systems, including RHEL, Ubuntu, or SUSE Linux
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix automation and scripting tools (e.g., Bash, Python, Ansible)
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Linux+, RHCSA, or equivalent
- Ability to support 24/7 operations and rotating shifts
