Litigation Counsel

Job Summary

To provide interim support to an in-house litigation team, the contract Litigation Counsel will manage a diverse commercial litigation portfolio, partner with business stakeholders, and work closely with outside counsel in a remote setting for 40 hours per week over a 3-month duration.

Key responsibilities

• Manage commercial disputes involving customers, partners, and business integration matters
• Support ongoing patent litigation matters and coordinate strategy with outside counsel across multiple jurisdictions
• Draft legal communications and provide practical, business-focused legal guidance while managing investigations and prioritizing incoming matters

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of litigation experience with a strong background in U.S. commercial litigation
• Experience in both law firm and in-house legal roles, preferably in enterprise software or technology sectors
• Proven ability to manage outside counsel and collaborate with multiple stakeholders
• Strong judgment, communication, and project management skills
• Capacity to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
