Live Captioning Project Manager

Job Summary

Managing live captioning and streaming projects remotely, the part-time Contractor will oversee project delivery, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and lead the deployment of streaming infrastructure and captioning tools.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee live captioning and streaming projects from conception to completion
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables
• Lead the configuration and deployment of streaming infrastructure and captioning tools

Required qualifications

• Proficiency in live streaming platforms and encoders (e.g., OBS, Wirecast)
• Strong understanding of real-time captioning technologies and tools
• Proven ability to troubleshoot audio/video quality issues and captioning delays
• Knowledge of accessibility standards such as ADA and WCAG
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines
