Job Summary
Passionate about sports and data-driven decision-making, the remote Live Sportsbook Trader will monitor bets and prices across all sports, manage risk and trading strategies, and collaborate with trading teams to enhance product competitiveness while working flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor all bets and prices 24/7, focusing on bet flow and taking action in line with departmental guidelines
- Identify relevant bets and assess expected value while recognizing betting patterns and market liabilities
- Communicate with customer-facing teams to support patron satisfaction and escalate issues for swift resolution
Required qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years of experience in a trading environment (preferred, not required)
- Bachelor's degree (BSc/BA) or equivalent in a relevant field such as Mathematics, Engineering, or Sciences
- Strong analytical skills with a genuine interest in sports betting and odds
- Exceptional time management skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, Looker, Mode, and Tableau for reporting and analysis
