Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Loan Analyst will analyze loan applications, collect essential documents, and serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the processing and underwriting stages, ensuring a smooth loan experience.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze loan applications and obtain necessary documentation and third-party reports
- Communicate proactively with customers and third parties to provide updates and address questions regarding required documents
- Review and analyze documents against credit policy to prepare loans for underwriting decisions
Required qualifications
- Preferred Associate's or Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience as a Loan Analyst/Processor or 2-3 years in the mortgage lending industry
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel/Google Suite
- Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions
- Flexibility to adapt in a dynamic environment with rapid changes
