Loan Collections Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Loan Servicing Collections Specialist will assist in managing past-due accounts through inbound and outbound communications, creating payment plans, and enrolling clients in hardship assistance programs while maintaining strong relationships and achieving performance goals.

Key responsibilities

• Improve portfolio health by assisting past-due clients through effective communication methods
• Maintain successful relationships with customers by providing exceptional service and professional collections tactics
• Ensure adherence to Loan Servicing guidelines and manage escalated customer service issues effectively

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Loan Servicing, preferably in collections, focusing on unsecured and personal loans
• Experience in a call center environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
• Understanding of call center technology and collections metrics
• High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
